Follow it by a trip to the Maldives, where sands are as white as the smiles of the locals, where fish swim happily in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, where the weather is a dream, and the deep rays of the sun wait to engulf you in their arms.

Day 1

Upon arrival in Colombo International Airport, be meet and greet by local English speaking driver. This driver cum guide will be accompanying you throughout the next 7 days of your stay in Sri Lanka. Look out for airport signage under your name at the arrival hall.

Proceed for a 4 hours drive to Kandy.

En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage and Matale spice garden. Taste a herbal tea and try out a 15 minutes herbal Ayurvedic massage.

Upon arrival at Amaya Hills Kandy hotel, check-in and rest for the night.

The ancient city of Kandy, located in Sri Lanka’s center, is known to be the country’s cultural capital and an example of Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage. This beautiful city in the hills is ideal for relaxing and reflecting. The City is home to the tooth relic of the Lord Buddha and it is housed in the famous ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or ‘Temple of the Tooth’, which attracts thousands to the city every year including devotees as well as visitors who come to marvel at the beautiful architecture of the temple. Kandy is also home to many other old temples and other landmarks, including the amazing Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on tour. The tour covers Upper lake drive, Gem and Batik shopping and Oak Ray wood cravings.

In the evening, watch a cultural dance.

Day 3

Check out of the hotel after breakfast. Be sent off to Kandy train station to catch your 1110am train to Nuwara Eliya (Nanuoya). The expected time of arrival is 3pm. Experience the scenic train ride on first class seat. There is no need for you to bring along your luggage as the driver will pick you up at Nanuoya station.

En route, visit the tea plantation and beautiful waterfalls.

Upon arrival in Heritance Tea Factory hotel, check-in and rest for the night.

Nuwara Eliya, known as the garden city of Asia for its hills, valleys and waterfalls, is 6,182 feet above sea level and is situated at the foot of Mount Pidurutalagala, Sri Lanka's highest peak. NuwaraEliya was discovered in 1819 by Sir Samuel Baker, the famous explorer who discovered the source of the Nile. Thereafter, an English village was established, the remains of which can still be seen. The colonial government habitually moved to NuwaraEliya for 3 months of the year: March, April, and May, when Colombo was warm and humid. Since then, thousands of domestic and foreign tourists sojourn in Nuwara Eliya, to relish the salubrious climate, play golf, enjoy the park, admire the high grown tea plantations, visit the Hakgala gardens grown tea plantations, visit the Hakgala gardens and travel to Worlds End at Horton Plains, where there is a sudden drop in the terrain of several thousand feet.

Day 3

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on tour. Strawberry farm can be visited, the boat ride can be arranged, tea plantation can be carried out. 

Day 4

Check out of the hotel after breakfast. Be transferred to Colombo. The expected car journey will takes at least 6 hours.

Upon arrival in the OZO Colombo hotel, check in and rest for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on tour.

Day 6

Check out of the hotel after breakfast. Be picked up and send to Colombo International Airport for your next international flight.

Day 7: Maldives
